Privacy Policy

Myndbook is a whiteboard app at myndbook.com. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

The email address you sign up with.
The boards you make: drawings, text, and images you upload.
Who you share a board with, including the email addresses you invite.
Basic technical data such as your browser type and an approximate location based on your IP address. We use it to keep accounts secure and to spot abuse.
Local browser storage and cookies. These keep you signed in and remember small preferences, like which folders you left collapsed. We do not use them to follow you around other sites.

How we use it

To run the service: save your boards, load them again, and keep everyone in sync when you work together.
To send account email such as sign in links and confirmations, and to let people know when you share a board with them.
To keep the service secure and look into abuse.

We do not show ads, and we do not sell your data or hand it to anyone for advertising.

Sharing

When you share a board, the people you invite can see your email address and everything on that board. You can remove their access at any time.

We use service providers to host data and deliver email. They act on our behalf and only handle what they need to run the service. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Storage and security

Your data is stored with cloud providers in the United States. It is encrypted while it travels between your browser and our servers, and access is controlled per account, so only you and the people you share with can open your boards. No method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure, so please keep your password to yourself.

Your choices

Delete a board or a folder at any time from your dashboard.
Delete your account and the data in it by emailing info@myndbook.com.
Keep your own copy by exporting a board as an image or a file from the board.

Children

Myndbook is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has an account, email us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we update this policy we will change the date at the top, and we will say so in the app when the change is significant.
